"Wawa Aba: Toughness & Perseverance," highlights the journey of African culture and resilience, showcasing a mix of traditional and contemporary dance styles performed by the Bantu and Maasai groups of the Taratibu Youth Association. Attendees will experience an immersive showcase of traditional West African dance, South African gumboot, the story of the Baianas of Bahia, Brazil, Taratibu, songs and spoken word; celebrating the artistry and innovation of African creatives.
